AI sales agents and workflows
Pipelapse builds AI agents that handle the repetitive work around a B2B sale. That includes meeting prep, follow-up drafts, CRM updates, deal health checks, MEDDPICC gap detection and re-engagement emails for stalled deals. The agents work from your CRM, inbox, calendar and call recordings, use models such as Claude and the OpenAI API, and a person approves anything that goes to a customer.
Agents we build
| Agent | What it does |
|---|---|
| Meeting prep | Before each call, pulls past calls, open deals, recent emails and news into a one-page brief for the rep. |
| Follow-up and CRM updates | After a call, drafts the follow-up email, logs notes and next steps in the CRM, and waits for one-click approval. |
| Deal health and MEDDPICC | Reads each open deal's calls and emails every morning, scores its health and flags missing MEDDPICC elements, such as no economic buyer. |
| Agentic nurture | Writes a specific re-engagement email for each stalled or lost deal, based on why it stalled. No generic sequences. |
| Lead router | Scores each new lead, matches it to the right territory and owner, and alerts the rep in minutes. |
| Weekly review writer | Summarises the week's pipeline changes and the deals that need a decision before the Monday meeting. |
You can watch sample versions of these agents run in the Agents tab of our example build.
How we keep agents safe
- A person approves anything customer-facing. Emails are drafted, never sent on their own, unless you decide otherwise for a specific case.
- Least access. Agents only read and write the fields and systems you approve, and many start read-only.
- Every action is logged, so you can see what an agent did, when and why.
- Your data stays in your systems. We call models through their business APIs and don't build training sets from your data.
What they connect to
Your CRM (usually HubSpot, sometimes Salesforce), email and calendar, call recorder, team chat, billing and product usage data. We write most agents in code and use Zapier or n8n where a simple automation is the better tool.
How an engagement works
Every engagement starts with a short call about what's missing, what's manual and what nobody trusts. We follow up with a one-page scope: what we'll build, how long it takes and the best way to work together. Then you pick one of three shapes, and you can switch later.
| Option | Best for | How it runs |
|---|---|---|
| Build sprint | One specific thing you need built | Fixed scope agreed up front. First version in days, done in one to two weeks, handed over with documentation. |
| Monthly retainer | Teams that keep needing things built and fixed | A set number of hours each month for builds, fixes, reporting changes and ops work. We maintain what we build. |
| Contract | An extra GTM engineer or ops lead, without a full-time hire | Billed hourly, working in your tools and standups, short or long term. |
Common questions
Which AI models do you use?
Mostly Claude and the OpenAI API, chosen per task. Summaries and deal analysis need strong reasoning, while routing and classification can use smaller, cheaper models.
Will an AI agent email our customers on its own?
Not by default. Customer-facing messages are drafted for a person to approve, usually in one click. Internal actions such as logging notes can run automatically once you trust them.
Are our calls and emails used to train AI models?
We use the providers' business APIs, which by default don't train on data sent through them. We don't build training sets from your data. Check each provider's current terms for the details.
Do you use Zapier or n8n?
Where a simple trigger-and-action automation is enough, yes. Agents that need to read context and make judgments are usually written in code, which is easier to test, log and maintain.
How quickly can we have a first agent running?
A first agent, such as meeting prep or follow-up drafts, usually runs within days as part of a build sprint of one to two weeks, starting read-only and gaining access as your team trusts it.
